JCI Lagos Metropolitan, formerly known as Lagos Metropolitan Junior Chamber, is the pioneer chapter of JCI in Sub-Saharan Africa; it has impacted all facets of Lagos State and the nation with significantly relevant initiatives like the “Be Who You Are Games” that later morphed into the “Sports for the Disabled” in 1974, and the Young Entrepreneurs Trade Fair since 1990.

The Outstanding Police Awards,

Otunba Bola Adewunmi Leadership Lecture Series, and

The JCI Nigeria Annual Business Forum that brings together captains of industries to discuss topical business and economic issues and opportunities for attaining EXCELLENCE within the country, and around the world.

Established in 1957 and currently 75 active members strong, The Doyen as popularly referred to has produced 12 National Presidents ever since.

The chapters focus areas include Business progression, Individual and Community development, Leadership, International development and Networking.
